An epic play, ’Our Mother of Bengal’ (Amader Bangamata) based on the life and works of Bangabandhu’s wife Sheikh Fazilatun Nessa Mujib premiered at the Bangla-Nordic Literary Festival in Dhaka on Sunday.
Dibyendu Udas directed the play written by Anisur Rahman. Jhumu Khan played the role of Bangamata. coordination by Moharraf Hossain Tutul , music and sound design Thandu Raihan light design. Uttoriyo Theatre produced this epic play in collaboration with Teachers’ Student Centre, Scandinavian Study Centre, Litteraturcentrum Uppsala and Teater Upplitt.
